Food: Didn't order any food, but you can. Ordered an angry orchard. Reasonable prices on drinks. Atmosphere: As soon as you walk in, there a counter towards the middle of the floor. You will have sign into the wait-list machine in front of it. The counter clerk will call your ticket when a lane is ready. You're given tickets to exchange your shoes at a different counter. It is $45 an hour to bowl. Ample amount of lanes available altogether given how packed this place got. Love that there is a parking lot here. Service: No one is waiting on you table-wise. Bartender was social and friendly.

It's been a minute since I've been here, so it has totally changed since the pandemic. Very nice decor new added features like a extra bar, and food was very good! The ladies at the bar and the server for the food was very nice as well 👍 if you are unsure about the pricing depending on the time and the days definitely look at their website or call them so you know 🎳 because some days cost more than other days past a certain time (weekend too) due to very busy crowds or the bowling leagues. It's definitely a fun place whether you're out with the family or with your friends ❤️

I want to start saying that I like this place a lot, as a tradition I’ve been celebrating holiday parties for 5 years with my work team. Thrilled to share the same experience with my family I decided to celebrate my daughter’s birthday at this place. We did a walk-in when I called I was informed about the bowling league taking place until 9pm. Having that in mind we took the risk. Upon checking in a see 2 guys at the front desk, one bald guy and a tall guy wearing a hat. Both with very little hospitality but the guy with the hat was ridiculously unprofessional and rude, crossing the line with us as customers and making me feel discriminated, is it because I’m Hispanic? We’ll let me tell you that Hispanic people like to celebrate and spend money, I waited almost 1:45 min for two lanes. I had to check 2 times at the front desk to see where I was standing at, and again with this despotic and arrogant attitude he (tall guy with the hat) said it could take for ever since people tend to extend their games and he didn’t know how much a longer wait it’d be (when he originally said 1hr to 1:30) which I was conscious because I knew this already. I decided to order food drinks beer etc. while we waited for our lanes, the extensive wait did not bother me, it really bothered me the fact that I felt discriminated watching how he’ll treat all white people around me 90% white 5% African American and 5% Hispanic Well, this Hispanic group spent near $800 for a party of 12. The least thing these people can do is show some appreciation for your costumers. Definitely need to look into your team and teach some hospitality skills!

Wow! This place is fun!! What a thrill. They even have TVs projected over the lanes while you bowl- so fun! 30+ lanes; despite being busy, you still have plenty of room to eat, drink, and be merry by your lane. Fun graphics on the score screen. Excellent food too- the pizza was amazing!! Really good soda too. The beer in the bowling ball is really fun too! Will be back. Knocked it one star because EXPENSIVE. Like $20 a person to bowl (for 2 hours) and $4 for shoe rental (like what!?). But, very fun experience in the city!!

It was decent. We had a group of like 12 people walk in on a Friday night & there were plenty of open bowling lanes. We always like the option to use bumpers cause we kinda suck at bowling lol but not sure they even offer them here? It's just a tad bit pricey for my taste (esp. if yours is the card the group uses to pay lol) but they do have deals throughout the week for little discount I think. There was an in-house dj with live music that was synced to lights and music videos on the walls! My friends are international so most use a passport or visa as primary identification... this was a bit confusing when entering this place you pass thru metal detectors and empty pockets into baskets like at the airport lol... Anyways, was a fun night

A friend asked me what I wanted to do for my 72nd birthday. I said, “Go bowling.” First time since a teenager. Diversey River Bowl was perfect! Quiet on a weekday afternoon, it was ideal for me! Easy parking, clean facilities, digital scoring, friendly and helpful staff. And a great menu from classic bar food to healthy (and delicious) options. It could not have been more fun. You’re never too old to go bowling.
